Our Workshops and Events

We provide free craft workshops and activities for people whose lives have been touched by cancer in any way, recently or in the past.  Whether you're currently undergoing treatment, you're in recovery; or if you've been bereaved through cancer - you are all very welcome to attend.

We know that it can be difficult it can be to attend somewhere new for the first time, so feel free to bring along a family member; friend; carer or neighbour to the session.  Everyone will be greeted with the same warm welcome.

Our sessions aim to provide friendship, peer support and relaxation in a welcoming and supportive environment.  Cancer journeys are very individual and personal, so you won't be asked to share your experience during the sessions, unless of course you want too.

We know how difficult it can be planning and making arrangements when you are on treatment or in recovery, so we're flexible - no advance booking is needed for any of our sessions - just turn up on the days that suit you.  There is no limit to the number of sessions you can attend.  We appreciate that if you are going through treatment, you may not be feeling very creative, that's ok, pop in and visit us anyway and have a cup of tea and meet people who have been through a similar journey.

All materials will be provided.  No previous experience is needed and beginners are always very welcome!
